Sales started out for me growing up as a poor child of a single mother in Provo UT. If I wanted something it usually meant I had to figure out a way to get it. I started selling greeting cards in Elementary School to earn cool toys! I would put on my Sunday suit and go out on Saturday knocking on doors, just when it seemed like a waste of time and I had met as much opposition as I could handle, behind the next door would be a kind woman who would invite me in and offer me a refreshment and order a few sets.
I learned early on with determination and effort I could do better than most and still have time to enjoy what is important! Throughout the years I have earned a good living while still having the time freedom to go to my wife’s Oby-Gyn appointments, make time for the kids school recitals and activities.
I have been an entrepreneur for the most part of my life and have been instrumental in several successful start-ups.
With the crash of the economy in 2008 had me looking to the future and that is where it all began for me. I traded my bullet bike for a MacBook and the rest is history!
I started selling YouTube videos for a small production studio called ProCreative and although our videos were top notch, in speaking with my clients 6-12 months later I learned they had very few views. It became my passion in life to learn all I could about online marketing and this strange term called SEO.
To fully implement what I was learning I co founded Copperfish Media with a longtime friend and within 1 year we were on top of the search engines and the phone was ringing!
